São Paulo!

I went to São Paulo, and indeed, they dress there much differently from Cariocas (the inhabitants of Rio), the difference could be illustrated as NYC vs LA. Easy laid back shorts and polo of Rio versus coats and put together looks of São Paulo. And the weather, of course, was encouraging jeans and even overcoats as early as 6 AM in the morning...

I do miss the good clothing scene here in Rio (although sometimes I see quite fashion forward and interesting girls on the streets of Ipanema...), and although in SP it was not THAT great, I still liked a few outfits. And oh gods, I met my "sister" - at the "Hippie Fair" next to Trianon park I saw a girl wearing... Minnetonka shoes, just like mine, but in black (I prefer mine, of course, as nothing looks as stunning as genuine Minnetonka sand-clay color, but it was nice to see somebody else liking the style!).

Yea, this could have been the case. But I do get a lot of looks from the local girls, whenever I venture out of the house, dressed in my LA style outfits. They like it!
