La Llorona

I love Spanish. A few years ago I bought a manual, sat down, and taught myself this beautiful language. It took me 6 months. Then I read Cien Anos de Soledad. And fell in love. Hence the history and the culture of Latin America and of course Spain play a very important role in my life. I do believe that I might grow old somewhere in Argentina. I do want to study film somewhere in Madrid one day.

But for now, although having thin transparent Slavic features of the daughter of the big cold North, I like to dress up in colorful skirts, wear colorful earrings and scarves, and sing Spanish songs.

Skirt - from some "grown up" women clothing site - a gift from my room mate. Shirt - Delias. Earrings - bought in San Diego on the New Year's Eve, from a Latin American woman, at 2 bucks a pair. Shawl - a gift from my friend Ayse. Bracelets - all from local US stores, bought on the cheap.
