Last Thanksgiving (2009)

My Thanksgiving celebrations start at around 2004.
In 2004 I was in San Francisco, pigging out on Chinese food - the only places open on Thanksgiving day.
In 2005 I was at my ex husband's family celebration in Detroit, Michigan.
In 2006 I was at my ex boy friend's family celebration in Woodland Hills, California (the worst celebration - because they all were so extremely disorganized and did not have any meat-LESS dish, so that I left hungry).
In 2007 I had the Best Thanksgiving EVER. I am sure it can even top YOUR average Thanksgiving! I was giving my thanks at a Caribbean restaurant on St.John's island, where my roomie and I rented a wonderful villa with our own pool and a hungry batch of island cats who we fed chicken and salami but did not manage to catch.
In 2008 I was on a huge cruise liner out in the open Mexican waters of the Pacific, eating a very decent meal in a semi empty restaurant aboard.
In 2009 I went to Arizona. Portobello mushroom sandwich at Granny's Closet, three million flat screens with football games around, yells of semi drunk fans and an icy cold IPA. Bliss. And later - The Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon and my 60-s inspired orange and black and white ensemble. It was probably the most colorful Thanksgiving I had.

Orange v neck sweater from H&M. Black pants form ZARA - best best best harem inspired black pant ever. Thick cotton turns into elastic leggins-like bottom. My faithful converse, special edition of some guy named Paul (they have holes in them already), H&M white scarf, Roxy white knitted hat, and pink leg warmers I bought three centuries ago in Moscow. Glasses are from Urban Outfitters and the bag is from Fossil (I hated to pay $80 for it but it is indeed a solid and cool looking bag).
