Who do YOU inspire?

I sometimes see an extremely beautiful girl, tall and thin, long legged, broad but delicate shoulders, long neck, pretty face with small features... Dressed nicely and not cheaply. But whatever she wears does not inspire me. I see those a lot. And then I see an average looking girl, cute, but of course not the model "standard" (whatever that freaking standard is that makes us all scrutinize our innocent hips in the mirror and wear out our bathroom scale on a daily basis), but for some reason I look and I look and I look, mesmerized, unable to de-glue my eyes off her and trying very hard to conserve the mental image and adapt it into my visual memory forever. I can not explain why this happens. I guess some people have innate sense of self presentation which some other people - like me - are hypnotized by. And inspired. I write everywhere how inspiration is important for me. I would die without one. That's why I am very grateful to meet all those "common" girls whose look sends me flying through the roof, and dancing, and singing.

And speaking about common girls, I myself get extra jittery when somebody asks me where I bought this or that, and compliments me on wearing a certain item. I had a girl once saying, I want all of it, your whole outfit, the way it is right now. Her eyes were lit and I could tell she, just like me, is drinking in every detail in order to maybe reproduce later on. Needless to say, it made my day. I don't want to just take. I want to give, too.

I met with Kristin yesterday, the one third of the Triumvirate, and this is what I was wearing. My new faves - AE light bleached jeans, which are skinny and artificially distressed, the stripey blouse from SJP's cheapo brand Bitten and one of my latest purchases - a Papaya buttonless cardigan. You can't see my feet but those are in the size bigger brown suede booties I got on Larchmont (previous post), they look good together, but this time all the cotton wool was out and I had to really shuffle. Dammit. But they looked good!
